Learning and Leadership: Theological Education for Lay People
Learning and Leadership: Theological Education for Lay People

I am delighted to share the good news of quality theological education being offered by our sister seminary, the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP). These online offerings are specifically designed with lay ministers in mind.

Synergy is palpable. There is “an increased effectiveness that results when two or more people or businesses work together” (Merriam Webster). At the CMT we work hard to promote and nurture lay ministry, not only as the ministerial functions performed by non-ordained church leaders but as the witness of all baptized Christians in the world.

Claiming baptismal identity and discerning one’s Christian vocation is lifelong work, deserving of quality formation. Too often formal theological education is perceived as the exclusive domain of those seeking or practicing ordination …

CDSP has created a program that is accessible online, in an asynchronous format that is affordable for lay people. Have a peek to see if this program could be for you!
