A Holy Week message from Key Resources

Newly green field

Dear friends in Christ,

As you know, this site strives to be a place where faith formation ministers and other teachers and learners in the church come to think, to discover, and to test out new ideas. We know that most of our readers have a busy week ahead of them preparing for and guiding fellow Christians through the Triduum, which Lisa has sometimes called “the great curriculum of the church.” The same, of course, goes for us.

So we decided the best thing we could do this week for all our vocational practice was to make this space a quiet corner to sit for a moment in prayer. Watch for the day’s collect here each of the next few days.

Know that you are in our prayers. We’ll see you at the empty tomb.

Holy Week blessings,

The CMT team: Amy, Charlotte, Chris, Dorothy, Kate, Kyle, Lisa, and Matthew

Almighty God, whose dear Son went not up to joy but first he suffered pain, and entered not into glory before he was crucified: Mercifully grant that we, walking in the way of the cross, may find it none other that the way of life and peace; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Center for the Ministry of Teaching (@VTS_CMT) curates faith formation resources for dioceses, congregations, and schools in the Episcopal Church and beyond.
